John here at Alexander Photography

located in Newark-on-Trent.

For more years than I care to remember, from my childhood age of 14, and encouragement from my Mother, I had saved up enough from my first wage packet to buy a second-hand camera.

Born in Ireland and growing up surrounded by wide-open countryside & hills to die for, with views of the landscape that never grow tiresome, I was truly blessed with spectacular views that captivated me growing up.

I enjoyed a wander in the hills, on two feet or wheels, armed with a camera to capture the view and moments still in my heart with a camera I could afford, always looking to make memories.

Today, I fit my photography in between being a husband, Dad, Taxi driver, problem solver, Grandfather, and spaceship driver for my two grandchildren, who help me empty my pockets at the local toy shop.

For the past 35 Years, my photography skills have been called upon by family and close friends to help out at social events at every level.

Well, you know the tale, oh, we need a photographer!

This has led me to explore how to provide coverage at events such as weddings, birthdays, parties & charity events.

It all costs time and investment to take things to the next level

So back then, I was doing what I enjoyed while learning the ropes.

I now focus my time on paid work.

Whether it's the heartfelt laughter shared between loved ones,

parties, raves, club events, or show jumps, I’m delighted to attend.

And capture images and memories of family times, lovers,

Shy glances exchanged during an engagement shoot,

Old school yard parties—whatever your requirements,

I hope to help meet your needs. I look forward to hearing from you.
