Hi from John at Alexander Photography

Newark-on-Trent.

I was born in Ireland and grew up on a council estate with great people & surrounded by my family and wide-open countryside with views that live forever in the mind.

As a lad, a holiday trip to the cliffs on a sunny day to the coast with views of the open Atlantic Ocean,

The wind blowing from the sea and the beauty of it all seem to be able to awaken all of your senses. You want to hold moments like that in your mind forever.

I recall looking out from the cliffs, the light changing while the waves crashed against the rocks and the shoreline,

The excitement of walking along the cliff edge is an experience, a moment when you feel like you are part of something grand. It was like a scene from a movie.

Now I enjoy a wander in the hills, a camera, and look for moments when I’m not busy being a husband, Dad, Taxi driver, Issue solver, Grandfather, spaceship driver & builder for my two grandchildren, with deep pockets at the local sweet shop.

Well, you know the tale, oh, we need a photographer!
